Enlightenment Intensive

Enlightenment Intensive

The Enlightenment intensive is the modern answer to the question, “Where can I go to directly experience the true nature of life, of others, and of myself?”

With one foot planted in the ancient tradition of Rinzai Zen and the other in the modern conversational process of interpersonal communication.

The Enlightenment intensive is a three-day retreat capable of producing profound spiritual enlightenment experiences.

Not a seminar, religion, or movement, the Enlightenment Workshop is a comprehensive support system for you to make your own inner journey, at your own pace, into the nature of reality.

How does it work?

During the Enlightenment intensive you are asked to set aside all distractions and engage in a monastic lifestyle in order to free your energy and attention for the practice being performed.
Your practice is to observe a question such as ‘Who am I?’ and communicate to your partner what happened as a result of the observation.
You choose a new partner every 40-minute period. Throughout the day you have breaks for walks, rest, meals and lectures. Other questions you may work on are “What am I?”, “What is life?” and “What is other?”
This journey of exploration, healing and awakening reveals that our deepest truths may be found within us and emerge through our honest interactions with others.

The workshop was first developed in 1968, and to this day hundreds of thousands of people around the world have participated in this respected, heart-to-heart format to awaken to who we are, what life is all about, and who others are.
